About The Position

The Maintenance Supervisor/Planner at Pilkington North America Inc. is responsible for overseeing the maintenance team, ensuring effective preventative maintenance planning and execution, and managing vendor and contractor relationships. Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Equivalent Experience
• 3-5 years experience in a manufacturing facility
• 3-5 years supervisory experience
• Excellent communication and human relation skills
• Strong computer skills
• Analytical and detail-oriented
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate leadership skills

Nice To Haves

• 1-3 years glass manufacturing experience
• AutoCAD proficiency
• Previous supervisory experience
• Self-motivated individual
• Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure

Responsibilities

• Preventative Maintenance planning and execution
• Responding to unplanned events
• Managing part availability and inventory
• Vendor management
• Contractor management when needed
• Providing recognition, guidance, or counseling to employees
• Maintaining relationships by addressing opportunities in a timely manner
• Reviewing critical equipment areas during shifts
• Implementing maintenance safety program segments
• Ensuring 5S standards in the maintenance area
• Instigating studies to overcome technical downtime problems
• Monitoring process performance for improvement opportunities
• Direct supervision and planning of the shift maintenance team
• Assisting in the commissioning of new plant and equipment
• Adhering to NSG/Pilkington Standards of Business Conduct
