About The Position

Maintenance Supervisor I AAMCI is hiring a Lead Maintenance employee to join our team at a 101-unit Senior/Elderly Section 8 and in Knoxville, TN. The community is an affordable housing community with Section 8 rent subsidy, providing housing to income-qualified residents. In this position, AAMCI expects strong customer service, safety management, skill set development and time management with the goal to create a home and strong communities for each of our residents to thrive. This position participates in on-call emergency for evening, weekends, and Holidays, and pays a premium rate of pay for each call out. Pay starting at $23.00 depending on experience AAMCI provides many training opportunities, and many paid opportunities to obtain higher levels of certificates. Requirements

Ability to adhere to work safety program
Ability to perform all duties including but not limited to lifting, climbing, standing, bending, loading, unloading, and working outdoors in inclement weather
Are you mechanically inclined, reliable, self-motivated, and eager to learn?
Could you work well as part of a property management team?
Are you attentive to safety?

HVAC/EPA Certified a plus

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance
Diagnose mechanical problems
Assemble, install and repair wiring, electrical or electronic components
Assemble pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, and equipment
Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools (hammers, hoists, saws, drill, and wrenches) to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices
Complete work orders
Order parts as necessary
Recording type and cost of repair work
