About The Position

The Maintenance Supervisor at Greystar Real Estate Partners is responsible for overseeing and performing technical and mechanical work to ensure that the community's buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet the company's standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This role involves managing maintenance requests, preparing vacant apartments for leasing, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations while demonstrating excellent customer service skills.

Requirements

• Experience in property maintenance or a related field.
• Strong technical and mechanical skills.
• Ability to diagnose and repair maintenance issues.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulations.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Previous supervisory experience in a maintenance role.
• Familiarity with property management software.
• Certifications in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical work.

Responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders generated from resident requests for service.
• Oversee and complete the 'make-ready' process for vacant apartment homes.
• Develop standards for cleanliness and overall appearance of community areas.
• Inspect work performed by service team members and contractors.
• Maintain adequate inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials.
• Complete monthly preventative maintenance procedures as outlined in the Policy and Procedure Manual.
• Conduct regularly scheduled safety meetings and ensure compliance with safety laws.
• Demonstrate customer service skills by treating residents with respect and responding to complaints.
