Under the direction of the Facilities Engineer who holds overall management of the maintenance department, the Maintenance Coordinator will lead and participate in performing repairs and preventative maintenance throughout the facility. This role includes the installation of fixtures, repairs, and adjustments to production equipment to ensure optimum operation. The Maintenance Coordinator will assist the Facilities Engineer in managing and administering all aspects of facilities maintenance, including building, grounds, machine, and electrical maintenance, as well as overseeing work performed by outside vendors. The position may require working alternating or irregular shift schedules to manage maintenance personnel during peak production periods or emergencies, and some overnight travel may be required. Responsibilities also include general oversight of Maintenance Technicians, project/plan creation and implementation, and maintaining accurate spare parts inventory.

  • Lead and participate in repairs and preventative maintenance throughout the facility.
  • Install fixtures and adjust production equipment for optimum operation.

  • Participate and lead in plant-wide safety activities.
  • 5+ years of relevant industrial maintenance/electrical experience or equivalent education and experience.
  • Associates Degree in applied science or equivalent from a 2-year college or technical school.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented self-starter.
  • Competent problem solver with a broad maintenance skillset.
  • Technical expertise and a hands-on approach.
  • Great negotiation skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret written instructions.
  • Mathematical skills for basic calculations.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions.
  • Ability to hear, talk, see, and distinguish between colors.
  • Additional certifications may be required to meet safety and/or other job and/or facility maintenance requirements.
