Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of Utilities, Facilities, or Production equipment maintenance.
  • Minimum of 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience, including proven experience coaching and team development.
  • CMRP (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional) certification or direct experience in maintenance planning and/or supervision is preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with proven leadership and planning capabilities.
  • Proficient in computer systems; experience with SAP or AMM is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and coaching skills.
  • Ability to understand, analyze, and clarify complex issues.
  • Proactive in identifying and recommending new opportunities for improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Create a positive, productive environment where each associate can fully contribute and be valued.
  • Train and develop associates. Clearly explain and check to make sure others understand what is expected. Build confidence in associates and provide one on one as well as team coaching.
  • Provide information and resources to the team to make decisions and solve problems.
  • Keep team members apprised regarding administrative matters, policy, procedures, team/department performance and other work-related matters that affect them through team meetings, shift start-up meetings, and one-on-one contacts.
  • Document incidents requiring disciplinary action.
  • Draft procedures, schedule team members work schedules in Kronos, schedule vacations, and fill out supply requests, maintenance requests and other administrative forms.
  • Guide the team to reduce technical stoppages in equipment or areas of common occurrence.
  • Ensure the systematic review of all processes, and utilities that are critical to the business.
  • Monitor plant/equipment trends to ensure best possible operation and reduction of planned/unplanned downtime.
  • Propose and monitor key performance indicators in accordance with the Best Maintenance Practices.
  • Facilitate the evolution/refinement of Maintenance activities to minimize planned and unplanned downtime.
  • Support site as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
