About The Position

The Maintenance Supervisor provides front line safety and engagement-based technical leadership to achieve plant and platform results. The Maintenance Team Leader is responsible for direct leadership of the mechanic and maintenance capability specialists. They are responsible for building maintenance capability at all levels of the platform team. The Maintenance Team Leader works to eliminate losses following a rigorous daily process that is data driven and focused on root cause elimination. The Maintenance Supervisor is accountable to improve the reliability of their systems through leading their team in maintenance foundational systems, technical problem solving and continuous improvement tools. The Maintenance Supervisor will be accountable for a crew on 1st shift with core hours of 6:30am - 3:30pm.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of manufacturing, frontline leadership, or technical leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership in a collaborative environment.
  • Experience in maintenance, reliability, and manufacturing.
  • Good understanding of materials, fabrication methods, and engineering skills.
  • Mechanical and electrical system knowledge.
  • Practical knowledge of Maximo and Maintenance Planning & Scheduling.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Technical/Science/Engineering/Mechatronics.
  • 4+ years of manufacturing, frontline leadership, or technical leadership experience.
  • Proven success in reducing losses and improving performance in a manufacturing setting.
  • Demonstrated technical capability and knowledge of unit operations and machinery.
  • Foundational knowledge of data analysis systems like SAP and Manufacturing Analytics.
  • CMRP, MLTI, or Eruditio Planning and Scheduling Certification.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Food and Human Safety initiatives to cultivate a safety culture.
  • Manage and direct the work of maintenance mechanics, including staffing and performance management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize team effectiveness.
  • Lead daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly direction setting meetings.
  • Accountable for the overall effectiveness of maintenance foundational systems.
  • Maintain and improve documentation of standards and coach the team in defect resolution.
  • Partner with Maintenance Asset Care Leader on planning and scheduling.
  • Manage the maintenance budget and ensure effective execution of maintenance shutdowns.
  • Utilize problem-solving tools and maintain a training/skills matrix.
