Responsibilities
- Provide plant support of station operations
- Assure timely and effective performance of assigned maintenance using approved procedures and work practices.
- Assure station maintenance and repair activities are conducted in accordance with the Company's personnel and safety policies.
- Direct and control work of station technicians and the planning and scheduling of such activities in support of station operations.
- Support the goal to maximize unit ability and reliability by assuring timely and effective planning and scheduling of maintenance activities.
- Perform supervisory duties, including conducting personnel evaluations, hiring and disciplinary recommendations.
Requirements
- HS Diploma or equivalent.
- Seven years of extensive experience working at a Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) or Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR) within an operating Nuclear power plant or a Commercial Industry.
- Must have 2 years supervisory experience within an operating Nuclear Power Plant.
- Strong background and knowledge in one or more Maintenance disciplines, Mechanical, Electrical, I&C.
- Ability to work various shifts when needed.
- Must meet and maintain Nuclear's Requirements for Unescorted Plant Access.
Nice-to-haves
- BS degree in Engineering/Related Science.
- Previous or Current SRO License/Certification.
- Knowledge of System Engineering.
