About The Position

Ag Processing, Inc (AGP) is currently seeking dynamic candidates for a Maintenance Superintendent! Requirements

College/ Technical School degree preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required.
Two years of maintenance and supervisory experience or equivalent preferred
Knowledge and/or experience in soy processing is preferred.
Knowledge of mechanical and electrical principles and practices.
Solid experience with using supervisory techniques to accomplish instruction, training, and motivation employees.
Problem solver with analytical thinking and strong organizational skills.
Able to operate equipment including industrial machinery and hand and power tools in addition to various office equipment including computer and printer.
Fluent in Microsoft Office Word and Excel and experience with AutoCAD.
Ability to effectively function as a team player and with diverse individuals and groups.
Ability to remain flexible and responsive when faced with multiple urgent requests.
Demonstrated courteous, professional communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge and/or experience in soy processing is preferred.
College/ Technical School degree preferred

Responsibilities

Supervise daily maintenance department activities through training employees, determining methods for employee work, scheduling, and conducting employee performance appraisals.
Monitor and maintain warehouse inventory, including completing purchase orders for ordering parts and supplies.
Review work orders, assign personnel for fulfillment, and enter documentation into computer.
Inspect and maintain equipment operations.
Use HxGN System to enter, track and update work orders and Preventive Maintenance schedules.
Participate in the Process Safety Management Mechanical Integrity Team to enhance safety and efficiency within the Facility.
Write reports, including subordinate time sheets, maintenance reports and accident reports.
Attend company meetings and perform other duties as assigned.
