About The Position

Richman Property Services, Inc. is currently seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Superintendent with a can-do attitude to join us in creating exceptional living experiences. Position: Maintenance Superintendent Location: Las Palmas. 54 - Units. Located in Wilmington, CA. Hours: Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. This position is eligible for a $40 monthly cell phone allowance and qualifies for the maintenance quarterly salary increase program after completing the 90-day probationary period.  On Call required EPA I & II or EPA Universal. If you do not have your EPA, but posses the right skills and experience, RPS may sponsor (and pay) for your EPA I & II within your first 75-days on the job. Details on EPA Certification will be discussed during interview. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; trade/technical school or related courses preferred.
  • Minimum four (4+) years in maintenance or related field; supervisory experience preferred.
  • EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license.
  • Knowledge of various maintenance areas
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proficient in English for communication and record-keeping purposes

Responsibilities

  • Maintain curb appeal and general cleanliness of buildings and grounds.
  • Execute daily repair and upkeep tasks.
  • Prepare vacant units for occupancy within deadlines.
  • Manage service requests with responsive, efficient, and courteous customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Adhere to all federal, state, local, and regional laws, and regulations.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory.
  • Report property-related incidents and maintain professionalism.
