About The Position

Rango Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Superintendent to join our team. Company Rango Inc. is a rapidly growing company in the contract mining services industry. We work with mining companies in several sectors ranging from aggregates to precious metals to industrial minerals. We are working on 25+ sites and are continuing to expand. The Superintendent is responsible for managing and directing maintenance operations of the area, including supervision of site maintenance leadership. Responsible for assisting maintenance managers in budgeting, and planning critical maintenance activities. You will work to comply with all MSHA/OSHA regulations, implementation of company guidelines and safety policies. Responsible for preventive, predictive, and corrective plant, and mobile equipment maintenance Responsible for purchase orders and maintenance work orders in your specific area. Manage employee time and attendance. Responsible for employee compliance with all department operating policies, procedures, and safety rules Responsible for coordinating communication and directives with labor force, Company personnel, and management Supervise, coach, train, and administer discipline to assigned personnel Assure the safety of personnel through compliance with MSHA regulations Review, approve and prioritize work requests for mechanical repairs and all safety and work permits Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States to be considered. Requirements

  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States to be considered.
  • Previous experience supervising heavy equipment maintenance.
  • Minimum three (3) years of maintenance mechanic experience.
  • Strong experience with maintenance software programs, Excel, Word and Power Point.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities, delegation skills, and strong organizational capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal English language skills and communication with reports, peers, management, and clients
  • Ability to form and foster collaborative relationships within the Company, customers and suppliers.
  • Commitment to teach and train others
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs., safely climb ladders, and regularly walk on uneven ground

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with civil, mining equipment, and mass excavation (preferred)
