About The Position

Primary Purpose : Assist SFISD Maintenance department Pay: $10.00/hr Summer schedule: May 26 - July 31 Monday - Thursday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Requirements

• MUST BE 16 YEARS OLD TO APPLY
• Current or graduating high school student.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instruction.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to use good judgement.
• Ability to understand and comply with established procedures
• No Experience Required

Responsibilities

• Assist Maintenance and operations staff with assigned tasks, included but not limited to, painting, furniture moving, pressure washing, large trash removal and general maintenance in and around district buildings.
• Organize, clean, disinfect, and maintain equipment and supplies.
• Participate as an effective team member.
• Demonstrate integrity and ethics.
• Utilize time wisely.
• Maintain punctuality in daily work times and meetings.
• Complete deadlines set by supervisors.
• Work cooperatively with co-works and supervisors.
• Always maintain a positive attitude.
• Work in harmony with supervisory, faculty, and peer personnel.
• Maintain a sincere, friendly attitude toward patrons.
• Represent the school system to the community in a positive, professional way.
• Exemplify high standards of ethical conduct
