About The Position

The Maintenance Stores Supervisor reports directly to the Area Maintenance Leader and is a key member of the Colonial Heights Maintenance Team. This position is responsible for leading all aspects of Stores Administration for the site. The site is located approximately 15 miles south of Richmond, VA and is the primary manufacturing facility for Spectra Fiber that supports the Solstice Advance Materials business. Responsibilities

  • Accountable for developing or maintaining Stores documentation, processes, or activities which ensure compliance to applicable regulations, contracts, policies, or initiatives
  • Administer site mail/shipping program (including hazardous, Fed Ex, DHL)
  • Assist in the procurement of tools, equipment, materials, and outside services for maintenance organization
  • Identify, write-off, and disposal of obsolete materials and surplus equipment
  • Leads strategic and complex projects to improve maintenance, productivity and performance
  • Manage services, purchases, invoices, and receipts of Stores activities.
  • Manage weekly, quarterly, and annual wall-to-wall inventory audits and cycle counts
  • Manage material expediting activities and purchases
  • Manage the material Quality Assurance (QA) Pre-Inventory Process
  • Manage maintenance vendors (Safety Kleen, Unifirst, Grainger, etc.)
  • Manage plan to repair/refurbish damaged parts (RO Process) to restore required inventory
  • Manage Kitting of Planned Work Orders
  • Manage housekeeping of all Stores locations through the site
  • Manage “A” critical equipment BOM’s (stock outs)
  • Making daily inventory adjustments and RMM material
  • Manage of Kronos, Work Orders, overtime, vacation, and coverage schedules as required
  • Preparing, forecasting, and explaining variance for Stores and Maintenance activities
  • Received goods in SAP and recordkeeping of delivery receipts.
  • Resolve blocked invoice GRs, Invoice Corrections/Resolution, Goods Withdrawal Process
  • Resolve Compass, AP, PO, SAP, P2P, and Invoice-to-Vendor Issues
  • Shipping of all Stores related items
  • Site Transportation Request Management
  • Stores operations, reporting and inventory management including shipping and receiving
  • Setup new parts (IP Sheet Process), General Inventory Management
  • Direct and assigned Solstice Maintenance Employees (Hourly)/Contractors as required
  • Utilizes knowledge of procurement and maintenance operations and policies to perform duties with minimal direction
  • Will be assigned weekend and holidays plant support coverage on rotational basis
  • Other work as required
