About The Position

The Stockroom Coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of the stockroom, including inventory control, safety compliance, waste disposal, and coordination with maintenance and facilities teams. This role ensures that materials are accurately tracked, safely stored, and readily available to support plant operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of leading sub-teams and training staff.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or relevant certification preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in stockroom, warehouse, or inventory control.
  • Proficiency with inventory management systems (e.g., AMMS, SAP).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain 95% in-stock inventory and 96% inventory accuracy.
  • Enter 100% of daily stockroom tickets and remove used parts from inventory in AMMS.
  • Order parts that fall below the minimum order point and non-stock maintenance parts.
  • Conduct weekly cycle counts of 75 items and complete all counts on time with 96% accuracy.
  • Visually inspect for missing parts and correct inventory discrepancies.
  • Inspect all incoming packages for damage and return damaged goods.
  • Ensure all parts are received daily and maintain SMOG report and disposition.
  • Run and interpret all necessary inventory and audit reports.
  • Coordinate annual audits with the Plant Controller.
  • Inspect the assigned work area daily for safety hazards and correct any faults.
  • Maintain flammable storage cabinets to ensure only flammable items are stored.
  • Assist the Safety Team with training forklift drivers and maintaining safety standards.
  • Call for pickup when dumpsters and cardboard are ready.
  • Handle disposal of all waste generated by the stockroom and maintenance department.
  • Assist Facilities Manager with plant waste disposal and forklift fleet management.
  • Join and actively participate in a Pillar Team.
  • Lead a sub-team within the Pillar Team when needed.
  • Train maintenance crew on stockroom operations and AMMS.
  • Attend maintenance crew meetings and support team initiatives.
  • Train forklift drivers and assist with safety training sessions.
  • Schedule returns of damaged products.
  • Keep up with the status of cycle counts and report to the Plant Controller.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for audits, inventory, and safety compliance.
