THE JOB The Gorge is seeking a Maintenance Staff to keep our venues show-ready and create an incredible fan experience. This position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the venue's business goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Requires a high school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience.
  • Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.
  • Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50 lbs.+ and occasional sitting
  • Must have a valid drivers license

Nice To Haves

  • An AA degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Grounds Maintenance & Upkeep
  • Landscape Management: Maintain the health and appearance of all venue greenery, including mowing lawns, trimming hedges, weeding garden beds, and pruning trees to ensure a professional, "fan-ready" exterior.
  • Irrigation & Water Systems: Operate and perform basic repairs on irrigation systems to conserve water while maintaining plant health; monitor for leaks or inefficient water usage.
  • Seasonal Grounds Care: Manage seasonal transitions by planting flowers, applying mulch, and executing leaf removal to keep walkways and lawns clear of organic debris.
  • Hardscape & Path Safety: Use blowers, pressure washers, and industrial sweepers to keep parking lots, sidewalks, and entryways free of dirt, gravel, and litter.
  • Pest & Weed Control: Identify common landscape pests and weeds; apply appropriate treatments or fertilizers in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Mechanical & Facilities Maintenance
  • Emergency & Scheduled Repairs: Provide rapid response for unscheduled repairs of production equipment during live events and perform preventative maintenance during scheduled downtime.
  • Multi-Craft Technical Skills: Utilize mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic expertise to troubleshoot and repair production machinery.
  • General Trades Support: Execute a variety of plumbing, carpentry, and simple machinist duties to keep the plant and facility in peak operating condition.
  • Tool & Manual Proficiency: Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders; professionally use hand tools, power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.
