About The Position

Our Maintenance Specialist is responsible for assisting the GM of Facilities in the operation of the facility as it relates to its maintenance, repairs, cleaning, modifications, construction projects and their completion in a timely, safe, and fiscally responsible manner.

Requirements

For legal reasons, all employees need to be at least 21 years of age.
You will be asked to pass a Federal and State criminal history background check.
We ask that you have at least a high school diploma/GED.
We ask that you have a minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in a professional/management role.
We ask that you are comfortable with heights.

Nice To Haves

Experience with fire extinguisher training a plus.
Strong attention to detail!

Maintain open communication with the management team and other co-workers.
Work closely with other grow team members and the Cultivation Director on a daily basis.

Strong experience with inspection, predictive and preventive maintenance, planning, execution, root cause failure analysis and improvements.

Responsibilities

Responsible for building and grounds maintenance.
Ensure that the facility is clean, organized, and maintained according to company policy and procedures.
Verify proper operation of facilities systems and equipment by completing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs by following instruction and utilizing operations manuals.
Assist the Maintenance Manager with ensuring contract services work meets specified results to minimize future operational problems; includes inspecting completed work and reporting failure to meet contract specifications.
Conduct and document regular facilities inspections on eMaint.
Diagnose maintenance, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and facility design modifications.
Communicate workplace safety precautions to employees.
Perform other duties such as taking out municipal trash/recycling.
Perform facility related tasks specific to irrigation, and cultivation equipment.
Periodically verify fire extinguishers and other safety equipment that are within approved dates and replace units when needed.
All other duties as necessary.
