About The Position

PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Monitors a variety of Maintenance Systems to ensure proper operations. Performs routine maintenance to Healthcare buildings and equipment, grounds keeping, and provides minor repairs, adjustments, resetting or troubleshooting of systems.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Building facilities maintenance background preferred.
• Valid Alaska driver’s license required.
• Certified able to wear a respirator.
• Customer Service oriented focus.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment.
• Must maintain confidentiality including HIPAA/HITECH information.
• Certified for airport driving within first three months of employment.
• First Aid/CPR within first six months of employment.
• Possess current or obtain State of Alaska Provisional/level 1 water treatment certification within 1 year of hire.
• Possess current or successful completion of Class III Boiler licensure within the first year of employment.
• Completion of ICS 100, 200 within 90 days of hire.
