The James City Service Authority seeks an individual to perform responsible work in the maintenance, repair and installation of mechanical and electrical systems used within the JCSA’s water and wastewater systems, which includes power distribution and generation systems, industrial class pumps and related electrical control systems. There are four levels of Maintenance Specialist distinguished by the level of work performed and the qualifications of the employee. Maintenance Specialist I: $45,337 / year or higher DOQ Maintenance Specialist II: $48,487 / year or higher DOQ Maintenance Specialist III: $50,912 / year or higher DOQ Maintenance Specialist IV: $51,881 / year or higher DOQ Flow into a new career with The James City Service Authority! In addition to annual cost-of-living increases, our step pay plan provides regularly scheduled wage increases throughout the course of a career. Candidates with minimum experience and qualifications may be hired into the first step of a pay grade. If hired at the entry level, the JCSA pay plan is structured to provide: 5.0% step increases annually for the first four years of service. 1.5% step increases annually, thereafter.
