About The Position
The Maintenance Specialist / Handyman at Habit Burger Grill plays a crucial role in ensuring the restaurant operates smoothly and maintains a clean and safe environment for both employees and customers. This position involves a variety of tasks that contribute to the overall upkeep of the restaurant, including maintaining the cleanliness of the interior and exterior spaces, as well as ensuring that all restaurant equipment is functioning properly. The Maintenance Team is essential in supporting management to achieve high standards of cleanliness and operational efficiency. As a Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for a range of duties that include maintaining daily fryer schedules, managing the cleanliness of equipment, and ensuring that outside grounds are well-kept. You will also be tasked with cleaning inside and outside windows, stock rooms, and restrooms, as well as managing and unloading delivery trucks as scheduled. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining and emptying trash compactors and other trash equipment, and cleaning HVAC and exhaust units. This position can be offered as either part-time or full-time, providing flexibility to meet the needs of the restaurant and its staff. Prior experience in equipment maintenance, HVAC, journeyman work, appliance repair, handyman tasks, or janitorial work is highly desirable, as these skills will contribute to your success in this role.
