ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES Operates and performs operational checks on GSE. Operates SE, flight line vehicles and other support equipment as required. Performs Daily and Preventative Maintenance inspections on GSE and company industrial vehicles. Performs Acceptance and Transfer inspection on GSE as required. Performs daily duties normally associated with this specialty. Certified to perform Hydraulic samples, documenting results on all assets as required. Certified to perform Tire and Wheel maintenance as required. Certified as a CAT 3 "Non-Cab" Crane Safety Operator. Qualified as a SE Operator Training Phase I Instructor, documenting the training in Readiness Insight as required. Qualified to perform corrosion detection, treatment, prevention on GSE. Uses publications to inspect, service, and repair GSE, ensuring all required records and applicable maintenance forms are completed and maintained. Checks out and turns in GSE as required, ensuring all required records and applicable maintenance forms are completed and maintained. Provides technical assistance, guidance, and training, documenting it in Readiness Insight as required. Practice good housekeeping, tool control, FOD awareness/prevention, fastener control, and safety always. Assists in flight line foreign object prevention walks. Comply with Hazardous Material Control and Management Program. Assist in the upkeep of the SE Operator Training and Licensing and SE Maintenance Programs. Documents maintenance, corrosion treatment and prevention actions. Assist with ordering parts, tools, materials, and equipment, reconciling with material control as required. Maintains pre-expended bins, accounting for all consumables. Must comply with established General and Industrial Safety Rules and Regulations as applicable to the contract, facilities, and job assignment. Must be able to work either day shift, night shift or weekend duty and travel as a detachment as required. Perform other tasks and assists other specialties as directed by management.
