About the position

The Maintenance Site Manager is responsible for overseeing daily field maintenance and construction activities for assigned owner area units, managing projects valued between $7 to $15 million. This role involves supervising subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety and operational procedures, and maintaining quality standards while adhering to budget constraints. The position requires strong leadership skills to coordinate field activities, manage labor costs, and foster teamwork among employees.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct daily maintenance/construction activities on-site.
• Coordinate all field activities and subcontractor direction.
• Ensure compliance with codes and specifications.
• Provide technical input for schedule creation and subcontracting strategy.
• Monitor quality of construction and adherence to schedules and budgets.
• Manage safety protocols and ensure all employees follow health and safety procedures.
• Engage with procurement and engineering teams to ensure timely equipment procurement.
• Conduct daily safety huddles and ensure proper safety content is promoted.
• Oversee crew workflow and monitor process control points.
• Participate in safety audits and client meetings.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 10-12 years of direct related craft experience with certifications.
• 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a maintenance/construction environment.
• General computer skills including email, Word, and Excel.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
