About The Position

As a Maintenance Shift Technician, you'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring our high-speed label production equipment and facility are in top working order. Your key responsibilities will include: Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems in our production machinery. Troubleshooting complex issues using schematics, diagrams, and your expert knowledge to quickly get equipment back online. Performing preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan. Installing and maintaining electrical systems, from basic wiring to intricate control circuits. Collaborating with engineers to identify root causes of problems and propose effective solutions. Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities. Ensuring a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all safety regulations. Assisting with general facility maintenance, including plumbing, masonry, and HVAC systems.

Requirements

  • Has hands-on experience fixing or maintaining mechanical systems (e.g., in a manufacturing plant, military, or auto shop setting).
  • Is comfortable diagnosing machine failures and performing detailed troubleshooting.
  • Understands the basics of PLCs (or is eager to learn and grow their skills).
  • Possesses strong problem-solving skills and can improvise effective solutions under pressure.
  • Is highly motivated towards continuous improvement, safety, and quality.
  • Works independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
