Community overview & position summary: The Service Technician is an integral part of the on-site Service Team. The position will respond and attend to resident service requests. Communicates with residents to resolve maintenance issues. Assists the Service Manager in performing preventive maintenance of the asset. As a Humphrey Management Ambassador, the Service Technician pays particular attention towards asset protection. Displays solid knowledge and skill in the safe use of hand and power tools and other materials to complete maintenance tasks. Follows all company, safety, and security policies and procedures. Visually inspects the community and reports any maintenance concerns. The Service Technician reports directly to the Community Manager/Service Manager and is accountable to the Property Owners, Residents, and Team Members. Duties: The position of Service Technician is responsible for all the plumbing, electrical, HVAC and painting at the community. Performs repairs, maintenance, and cleaning of property both interior and exterior.

Requirements

  • At least one-year related experience required
  • Must have outstanding customer service skills
  • A valid driver's license is required

Benefits

  • Excellent benefits package, including PTO accrual for full-time employment up to 120 hours during the first year of employment which increases by one day with each additional year of employment up to 200 hours.
