The estimated annual base salary range for this position is $39600 - $49500. Individual pay within this salary range is determined by several compensable factors, including performance, knowledge, job-related skills and experience, and relevant education or training. This role is also eligible for S&C's annual incentive plan (AIP), subject to eligibility criteria. Join Our Team as a Maintenance Service Specialist! Are you passionate about Facilities Maintenance ? S&C Electric Company is seeking a dynamic individual to coordinate our Facilities function. As a Maintenance Service Specialist , you'll be crucial in ensuring smooth operations and supporting our diverse team. Our Maintenance Service Specialist coordinates the administrative operations for the Facilities function. The position is responsible for supporting a variety of administrative functions, including help desk support, procurement, training coordination, vendor coordination, and KPI reporting.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
  • 1+ years of demonstrated experience in maintenance coordination or related field.
  • Experience working with procurement processes, particularly in Oracle or similar systems.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal departments and external vendors.
  • Basic knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to compile data and generate meaningful reports.
  • Posses a proactive and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve common goals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to complete activities with accuracy.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and coach other team members, fostering their professional growth and skill development.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office tools (ie. Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc).

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in Business, a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule all preventive maintenance (PM) activities to ensure timely completion
  • Ensure all required parts, tools, and materials are available and properly kitted before scheduled maintenance.
  • Monitor PM compliance and report on completion rates and outstanding tasks.
  • Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to meticulously track all maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Maintain accurate records of PM schedules, parts usage, and kit preparation.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to schedule maintenance tasks efficiently.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize maintenance workflows and reduce delays.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for PM coordination between operations, maintenance, and stockroom teams.
  • Coordinate with external service providers for preventative maintenance and emergency repairs.
  • Develop and manage the annual schedule for preventative maintenance activities, coordinating with external vendors as needed to ensure necessary (PM) preventative maintenance tasks are completed.
  • Compile month-end reports for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to the facilities function.
  • Understand and comply with all applicable Company policies and rules.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
  • Attend in-person or virtual meetings as requested or required.
  • Communicate effectively and respectfully with others.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
