About The Position

This position involves working as a member of a team to perform Billeting Management, Room Assignments/Terminations Services, Facilities Sustainment Services, and Furnishing Manager Services in support of the Fort Hunter Liggett CA billeting program.

Requirements

Physical ability to walk, inspect, and/or monitor rooms and barrack facilities and associated facilities.
Experience communicating findings inspection items to leadership chain in both written and oral fashion.
Physical ability to lift, move, push, pull at least 50 pounds, walk up to approximately ½ mile, squat, bend, stand, and sit.
Moderate level of computer literacy.
Familiar with Microsoft Office programs.
Able to learn different software systems once trained on them.
High school diploma or equivalent.
18 years of age.
Valid state driver's license is required.
Proficient on reading and writing in English.
Must pass a background check conducted by the government.
Must be a US Citizen or US permanent resident for more than 3 years to obtain NACI and CAC Card eligibility.

Nice To Haves

At least three (3) years of experience conducting daily, weekly, monthly, and/or annual inspections of base operation and living facilities.
At least one (1) year of experience processing Demand Maintenance Orders (DMOs) in a Department of Public Works setting.

Responsibilities

Perform Billeting Management, Room Assignments/Terminations Services, Facilities Sustainment Services, and Furnishing Manager Services.
Walk, inspect, and/or monitor rooms and barrack facilities and associated facilities.
Communicate findings inspection items to leadership chain in both written and oral fashion.
Assist in the stocking of supplies and the inspection and light housekeeping of common areas.
Provide support with furniture inspections.
