The position involves the classification, documentation, and maintenance of aircraft, engine, missiles, and munitions records. The role requires analyzing maintenance information and requirements, developing visual presentations, and monitoring the effectiveness of aircraft maintenance scheduling. The individual will develop plans and establish schedules to meet mission requirements, schedule related aircraft, components, and munitions through maintenance phases, and determine maintenance capabilities to aid in developing operational schedules. Additionally, the position entails preparing weekly, monthly, and quarterly utilization schedules for known maintenance and operational mission and training requirements. The use of automated systems to schedule and monitor maintenance activities' workload is essential. The individual will administer work control by authorizing jobs, work priorities, and completion times, maintain and audit weapons systems records, and manage aircraft configuration requirements, TCTOs, special inspections, and time-change programs. Accurate documentation of aircraft configuration, time compliance technical orders, time-change items, and special inspections is required. The individual must perform assigned tasks within their work center that directly supports the necessary functions of this job classification.
