About The Position

Performs general maintenance and cleaning tasks at multiples centers as assigned. Uses a variety of cleaning materials and agents to clean classroom, kitchen, and bathroom areas on a regular basis. Performs simple repair and maintenance work on tables, chairs, toys and children’s furniture as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Employees must be the parent of a child currently or former enrolled in the Prekindergarten Head Start Program.

Responsibilities

• Visits multiple centers as assigned; washes cots, toys, puzzles, children’s furniture, cubbies, shelves, paper towel holders, wall telephones and window sills.
• Cleans kitchen areas and bathrooms.
• Makes simple repairs to tables, chairs, toys and children’s furniture.
