About The Position

If you are looking for a great opportunity to utilize your trades and maintenance skills this is the job for you! Situated in the beautiful mountains near Michaux State Forest, South Mountain Restoration Center is a Long-Term Care Skilled Nursing Home Facility operated by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. As a Maintenance Repairman 2, you will perform skilled work at the journeyman level in several trades exercising technical independence in determining work methods and procedures by receiving assignments orally or through written instructions, which may be accompanied by sketches or diagrams.

Requirements

• Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1; or
• Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.
• Possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.
• Must meet the PA residency requirement.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled work at the journeyman level in several trades.
• Determine work methods and procedures based on assignments.
• Complete maintenance and repair tasks as needed.
