About The Position

At National Trade Supply, the Maintenance Repair Worker is responsible for supporting the day-to-day upkeep, repair, and safe operation of our facility and equipment. This role exists to ensure the physical work environment remains functional, compliant, and reliable through timely maintenance, basic repairs, and preventative care. The Maintenance Repair Worker performs routine inspections, responds to maintenance requests, and assists with repairs across building systems, equipment, and infrastructure. This role is hands-on and execution-driven, working closely with maintenance leadership and operations teams to address issues quickly, prevent downtime, and maintain a safe working environment. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in maintenance, facilities, or a related trade preferred.
  • Technical certifications are a plus but not required.
  • Must provide and maintain a basic set of personal hand tools required to perform maintenance and repair duties (Recommended tool list available).
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, pneumatic, or HVAC systems.
  • Ability to read basic manuals, instructions, or schematics.
  • Comfortable using hand tools and power tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to follow direction.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in maintenance, facilities, or a related trade preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on facility systems, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Assist with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, pneumatic, and HVAC-related maintenance tasks.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, or potential failures.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and urgent repair needs.
  • Support installation, adjustment, or replacement of equipment and facility components.
  • Perform low-voltage electrical tasks as assigned (approximately 24V systems).
  • Use hand tools and power tools safely and correctly to complete assigned work.
  • Follow all safety procedures, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
  • Report hazards, unsafe conditions, or equipment concerns immediately.
  • Document completed maintenance work, inspections, and repairs accurately.
  • Support preventative maintenance efforts to reduce equipment failure and downtime.
  • Work collaboratively with operations and other departments to schedule and coordinate repairs.
  • Escalate issues that require advanced technical expertise or external service support.
  • Assist maintenance leadership with facility improvements and upgrades as needed.
  • Support overall operational reliability by completing work thoroughly and on time.
