Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul Senior Engineer to be a part of the Mechanical Systems and Externals Engineering (MSEN) department in support of our Engineering support team at the US Air Force Depot at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City, OK. This team is responsible for all Mechanical Systems and Externals hardware for the F135, F119, F100, TF33 and J52 programs. The primary function of the MRO Engineer (MRO-E) is to be an on-site engineering liaison representing Pratt & Whitney in front of our US Air Force customer.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of experience in engineering, or an Advanced degree in a related field and 3 years of experience in engineering.
  • U.S. Citizen - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
  • Knowledge of gas turbine engines.
  • Experience with Engine hardware support, such as Engineering Change Process, Production, and fielded hardware disposition, Limit expansion task, and analysis.
  • Knowledge of all required engineering analytical tools and documentation sources.
  • Ability to operate across a wide range of disciplines and management levels with both internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

  • Support hardware recovery efforts through review/disposition, limits expansions, deviation requests, and pursuit of repair solutions.
  • Support Component Improvement Program (CIP) tasks.
  • Present data, analysis, and solutions to varied audiences including senior leadership and customer representatives.
  • Act as the primary interface onsite for the Component Integrated Product Teams (CIPT's), Site Leadership, and Onsite Customers, as well as provide mentoring and guidance to assist in developing the onsite team.
