About The Position
The position is responsible for driving the Predictive Maintenance Strategy as defined in Maintenance Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The role involves conducting Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) for Process Equipment to eliminate risks for unplanned equipment breakdowns by systematically improving equipment PM plans. The individual will develop and provide hands-on technical training for maintenance leads and mechanics on both new and existing systems to enhance technical knowledge within the maintenance organization. Additionally, the role includes performing systematic reviews of Corrective Work Orders for critical process equipment, identifying and correcting gaps in the preventive maintenance program and associated SOPs and instructions. The position requires collaboration with Project Engineering to ensure accurate spare parts selection, reliability, and maintainability of new and modified equipment installations. The individual will also work with Lead Maintenance Technicians and Project Engineers to make ongoing improvements to equipment and utilities, participate in the final check out of new installations, and systematically define and develop improved preventive maintenance tasks utilizing predictive maintenance technologies. The maintenance lead will identify critical spare parts for MRO for new equipment and strategically work with process and project engineering to eliminate OEE losses due to equipment downtime or unplanned failures. The role supports the completion of preventive maintenance swiftly, responds to production needs, ensures detailed documentation through maintenance work orders and change controls, and maintains compliance with codes, cGMP, and industry good practices. The individual will also report deviations related to product or equipment that could compromise product quality or safety and maintain a safe work environment by following all Health & Safety policies and procedures.
