About The Position

Maintenance Reliability Lead, Industrial Manufacturing Location: Tooele, UT Company: Minova – Direct Hire A day in the life You start your morning walk-through on our production floor—steel roof bolts humming off the line, plates being formed, bonding resins curing, and powdered chemicals running to spec. You review the maintenance schedule you built, align with operations to slot a planned outage with minimal disruption, and coach a tech through a PLC logic tweak. A hydraulic issue on rotating equipment? You lead the troubleshooting effort, implement a Poka‑Yoke to prevent recurrence, and capture the learning for continuous improvement. By afternoon, you’re hosting a quick Kaizen huddle, ensuring 5S standards are crisp, validating that equipment is meeting quality output targets, and approving parts spend to stay within budget. You wrap by planning support for a sister plant visit later this month. What you’ll lead Own the preventative and predictive maintenance plan that keeps plant assets performing at their best. Partner closely with operations to sequence maintenance and repairs for minimal downtime. Champion 5S across the shop, sustaining a clean, organized, efficient workspace. Drive continuous improvement with Kaizen events and Poka‑Yoke (error‑proofing) solutions. Coach, develop, and set standards for a high‑performing maintenance team. Troubleshoot complex equipment issues and implement cost‑effective fixes that elevate reliability. Monitor equipment capability so lines consistently produce high‑quality product. Manage maintenance budgets and spending discipline. Occasionally travel to support sister plants and special projects.
