About The Position
The Maintenance Reliability Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the effective and efficient operation of the maintenance function within the plant. This position is responsible for providing leadership and direction to the maintenance team, ensuring that all manpower, materials, parts, and resources are utilized effectively. The Reliability Engineer will work closely with the Engineering & Maintenance Manager to enhance capacity, asset reliability, and achieve the best life cycle cost for operations. This role involves defining, implementing, and managing systems, structures, training programs, and processes that drive and sustain reliability functions within the plant. A key aspect of this position is fostering a proactive culture that values reliability and effective life cycle asset management. The Reliability Engineer will be tasked with developing strategies to improve maintenance processes, ensuring that the plant operates at optimal efficiency. This includes overseeing the implementation of reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) practices, asset management principles, and condition monitoring tools. The engineer will also be responsible for training and mentoring maintenance staff to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to maintain high reliability standards. In addition to technical expertise, the Maintenance Reliability Engineer must possess strong communication and organizational skills to effectively collaborate with various teams and stakeholders. The role requires a commitment to continuous improvement and the ability to adapt to changing operational needs while maintaining a focus on safety and sustainability.
