Job SummaryUnder direction from maintenance management, manage maintenance projects for Facilities Services; coordinates the work efforts for a group of technicians and third party contractors. Provides business office support and customer service for zone maintenance, performs work order audits, utilize electronic work order management systems, and develop metrics to evaluate performance efficiency.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Familiarity with MS Office suite

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent. College degree preferred
  • 2 years’ experience in maintenance operations.

Responsibilities

  • Assign and schedule work orders to skilled and semi-skilled trades’ craftsmen technicians.
  • Coordinate maintenance projects to be completed on schedule, monitor work in progress, and occasionally inspect completed jobs.
  • Review timekeeping records and reports associated to work orders.
  • Administers service contracts to ensure compliance with job specifications and adherence to unit cost agreements.
  • Responsible for ensuring workforce compliance with OSHA job safety requirements.
  • Interacts with University administrators, managers, and other customers across campus to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Identifies shortcomings in responsiveness, quality of repairs, and customer communications.
  • Supports department strategic goals and objectives and ensures overall policies promote the efficient and safe operation of the unit.
  • Performs related and other departmental duties as required.
