Requirements

  • Must successfully complete LCI new hire safety training and refreshers.
  • Must be able to successfully pass the LCI OSHA approved forklift-training course.
  • Must successfully complete LCI Lock Out Tag Out Training.
  • Must successfully complete LCI Electrical Safe Work Practices Training, as required.
  • Must successfully complete LCI Fall Hazard Training, as required.
  • Must successfully complete LCI Confined Space Training, as required.
  • Must successfully complete LCI Hot Work Training, as required.
  • Must successfully complete all LCI lean training, as required.
  • Must successfully complete LCI Tabware Technician Training.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to weld or experience with basic metal fabrication.
  • Experience diagnosing/resolving issues with overhead doors.
  • Experience rigging and moving equipment with a boom.
  • Experience with a meter or other electrical test equipment.
  • Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic prints.
  • Education/Experience with machine operation and repair.
  • Experience with servicing pneumatic compressors.
  • Experience servicing overhead conveyor systems.
  • Experience servicing coating or blasting systems.
  • Education/Experience servicing programmable logic systems.

Responsibilities

  • Safely and effectively troubleshoot, repair, and maintain operations and production equipment.
  • Adhere to LCI core values, safety guidelines, and lean initiatives.
  • Request support from other Maintenance Technicians and Maintenance leadership as necessary.
  • Support operations and production first when necessary.
  • Perform maintenance tasks using basic hand tools and basic power tools.
  • Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting and rebuild tasks.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and movement of electrical circuits.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and install PLC and HMI systems and their associated circuits.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and install production hoists and maintain bridge cranes.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and install welding equipment.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and install propane and oxygen fueled torch equipment.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and install production band saw equipment.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and install production plasma cutting equipment.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and install blast booth and reclaim equipment.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and install dust collection and sieve equipment.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and install powder coating guns, controllers, booth, and associated equipment.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and install breathing air equipment.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and install dry off and cure oven systems.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and install overhead conveyor systems and components.
  • Perform safe and proficient diagnostics of pneumatic compressor systems.
  • Operate fork trucks and aerial lifts safely and proficiently.
  • Power down, raise, and secure overhead doors.
