About The Position

The Maintenance Porter position at SP+ involves performing facility maintenance duties and engaging with customers to ensure a clean and safe environment. Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
• Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily with reasonable accommodations.
• Valid state-issued driver's license if driving is required for the job.
• Experience in facility maintenance, electrical work, or painting is preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in facility maintenance or customer service is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform all maintenance and cleaning tasks as directed by the facility manager/supervisor.
• Walk the garage daily to identify and correct maintenance problems.
• Sweep and clean entrances, exits, stairwells, and other areas of the facility.
• Empty trashcans in the garage, booth, and office.
• Paint various areas of the facility as directed to maintain a neat appearance.
• Replace burned-out bulbs and apply oil absorbent to spills.
• Submit requests for repairs or maintenance as needed.
• Check safety items and ensure proper operation of ticket spitters and gates.
• Provide ticket and record gate counters to the Manager.
• Maintain inventory of janitorial supplies and a garage/lot sweep sheet.
• Operate cleaning equipment and tools as required.
• Shovel, plow, or blow snow from designated areas as needed.
• Report any safety hazards or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager.
• Assist customers and resolve complaints as necessary.
• Maintain a neat appearance and adhere to uniform requirements.
