About The Position

The Maintenance Planner at Nestlé plays a crucial role in supporting the Engineering and Maintenance Team by planning and coordinating preventive, predictive, and project maintenance work. This position ensures that necessary parts and resources are available, leads the execution of daily maintenance plans, and acts as a liaison between technicians and management. The Maintenance Planner is responsible for maintaining data integrity in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and analyzing maintenance metrics to improve operations.

Requirements

  • B.S. degree in Engineering preferred, or a combination of education and experience.
  • 3 years of experience in a Manufacturing or Automated Distribution Center environment supporting Maintenance and Engineering functions.
  • Experience in planning and coordinating maintenance activities, considering production schedules.
  • Exposure to TPM, PM Pillar, and maintenance planning techniques.
  • Participation in maintenance activities coordination considering SHE and food safety.
  • Food Industry experience preferred.
  • Experience with CMMS systems (SAP, Maximo, MP2, MLS, etc.) is highly recommended.
  • Prior storeroom or parts crib experience or hands-on skilled trade experience is a plus.

  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to manage parts inventory effectively.
  • Experience in assembling job parts kits for maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for the Computerized Maintenance Management System (AMM).
  • Plan Predictive/Preventive Maintenance work activities and associated resources to align with Distribution Center Operations plans.
  • Enter modifications and improvements to equipment into AMM.
  • Provide SAP data integrity guidance and training to team members.
  • Evaluate Work Requests and convert them to Work Orders as needed.
  • Verify completion of planned and unplanned work and log data for future evaluation.
  • Analyze data and generate critical metrics and trend analysis reports for Engineering feedback.
  • Oversee storeroom and manage parts inventory.
  • Assist Site Engineer in coordinating projects and contractor activities.
  • Follow Nestlé Maintenance Strategy using Consequence Driven Maintenance (CDM).
  • Execute plans to ensure asset reliability and overall site performance.
  • Coordinate routine building maintenance and utilities activities.
  • Schedule outside contractors for engineering-related activities.
