About The Position

About the Role: As a CBRE Maintenance Planner, you'll be at the heart of our facility operations, ensuring that building maintenance runs smoothly and efficiently across two campuses consisting of both leased and owned buildings. In this dynamic role, you'll manage work orders, coordinate repairs, and provide essential administrative support that keeps our spaces safe, functional, and optimized. This position partners with our Maintenance and Engineering team, which plays a critical role in delivering preventive maintenance, technical support, and timely repairs across a wide range of equipment and systems. What You'll Do: Organize and prioritize work orders, assigning tasks to technicians or external vendors to ensure timely completion. Coordinate the engagement and oversight of vendors and subcontractors, ensuring alignment with project requirements and safety standards. Collaborate closely with the maintenance team to stage necessary materials, permits, tools, and resources for efficient execution of work. Create and manage purchase orders to support maintenance activities. Review, process and audit vendor invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance. Develop, maintain, and communicate standardized workflow processes across the account team to support operational consistency. Analyze predictive maintenance data to identify trends and provide regular performance reports to management and the client. Conduct annual evaluations of preventive and predictive maintenance programs to ensure effectiveness and continuous improvement. Demonstrate leadership by modeling behaviors aligned with CBRE's RISE values: Respect, Integrity, Service, and Excellence. Adhere to established procedures and timelines to meet operational objectives and service level agreements. Requirements

  • Demonstrated proficiency in using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to dispatch and assign work orders.
  • Candidates should have a basic financial knowledge, including experience in processing purchase orders and invoices.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school certification with 2-3 years of relevant experience.
  • A combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of formal credentials.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying loads of 50 lbs.
  • Skilled in applying established procedures to resolve routine maintenance and operational issues.
  • Experience in analyzing data and applying standard practices to make informed decisions and judgments.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and other relevant tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a proactive, inquisitive mindset with attention to detail.
  • Solid intermediate math skills, including the ability to calculate percentages, fractions, and perform financial-related computations.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
