About The Position

Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring for a Maintenance Planner to contribute to our Manufacturing team in Lavergne, TN. This person performs a variety of functions within the Facility. Plans and coordinates work orders, parts, inventory, bin consolidation, kitting, preventative maintenance (PMs), and vendors/contractors. Ensures accuracy in maintenance data through auditing processes. Reviews quotes for validity/pricing and enters them into the work order system to maintain the plant/equipment. Plans and schedules maintenance activities, ensuring equipment, machinery, and other assets are regularly maintained to prevent breakdowns and downtime. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3 years of experience in building and facility maintenance
  • 2 years of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC
  • 2 years of experience directing outside contractors
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in using maintenance planning and scheduling software.
  • Familiarity with maintenance equipment and supplies procurement processes
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of organization, operating procedures and policies of the company’s applications (Office, Excel, Word, and Outlook programs)
  • Oral and written communication skills up to a high school level
  • Ability to be flexible/multi-task based on workflow demands.
  • Ability to develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintain them over time.
  • Ability to receive and give information in a courteous manner over the telephone, via electronic communication or in person.
  • Ability to meet and maintain projects and deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain full time work schedule during normal company operating hours.

  • Ability to lift/carry in full range of motion up to 50 lbs. during the assigned shift – up to 35 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
  • Ability to push/pull in a manufacturing environment up to 50 lbs. to push during the assigned shift.
  • Ability to grip/grasp continuously during the assigned shift.
  • Ability to bend, twist/turn, reach above shoulder, and type/keyboard frequently during the assigned shift.
  • Ability to work designated shift including overtime as required.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, hear, see, think, communicate, concentrate, learn, and work.
  • Ability to sit at workstation for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work effectively using a personal computer for long periods of time.
  • Ability to operate computer equipment, including keyboard and monitor, phone equipment and other necessary office equipment
