Create detailed job plans including labor requirements, parts, tools, safety procedures, and estimated task durations. Schedule maintenance activities to reduce production disruption, coordinating with supervisors and production planners. Prioritize work orders based on safety, equipment criticality, and operational impact. Review, validate, and prioritize incoming work orders in the JDE system. Ensure work orders contain sufficient detail, including problem description, root cause indicators, and required follow-up. Close work orders with accurate documentation on labor, parts used, and corrective actions taken. Track and report KPIs such as PM completion rates, downtime trends, and backlog status. Forecast parts and materials needed for scheduled maintenance tasks. Work with the storeroom and purchasing teams to maintain appropriate inventory levels of critical spares. Source new vendors or components as needed to support equipment reliability and cost optimization. Support root cause analysis for unplanned downtime and repetitive equipment failures. Partner with maintenance technicians to develop job instructions and improve PM procedures. Maintain and update equipment records, drawings, and technical manuals. Assist engineering with installation planning for new injection molding equipment or retrofits. Ensure all planned work adheres to OSHA, company, and industry safety standards. Document lockout/tagout requirements and special safety precautions in work plans. Support regulatory compliance for environmental, waste handling, and facility operations.
