The Maintenance Planner directs and assists in the planning of people and resources engaged in maintaining facilities and equipment. Requirements

  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but involved written or oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment, fixtures, and codes.
  • Knowledge of proper use of safety equipment; i.e. safety glasses, ear plugs, and work boots where necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule maintenance activities across the OKC location.
  • Develop and implement new maintenance processes throughout various departments.
  • Use data to predict maintenance needs.
  • Organize spare parts inventories to prepare for emergency or preventative maintenance needs.
  • Foster a culture of safety awareness through correct maintenance processes.
