Lead root cause analysis and collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and operations to eliminate recurring failures. Drive continuous improvement to enhance safety, efficiency, and asset performance.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED and at least an AA in an engineering discipline.
  • Four years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, including at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license upon hire and maintain throughout employment.
  • Knowledgeable in procedures and practices of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, maintenance and repair including hydraulic and pneumatic.
  • Familiar with computerized machinery operations.
  • Able to read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, electrical schematics and work orders.

Nice To Haves

  • Experienced with Microsoft Office and SAP (preferred).
  • Able to promote staff and team development and high performance by assuring regular, effective and consistent feedback.
  • Strong ability to analyze data, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
  • Understanding of reliability engineering principles, maintenance strategies, and relevant software tools.
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical information and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Skill in scheduling, resource allocation, and managing complex maintenance projects.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze equipment performance data and failure records to identify trends and common issues.
  • Track DT/MTTR/MTBF/PM completion rate
  • Conduct root cause analyses (RCAs) to understand failure mechanisms and develop corrective actions.
  • Develop and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
  • Plan and schedule maintenance work, prioritizing tasks based on equipment criticality and potential impact.
  • Allocate resources efficiently to ensure timely execution of maintenance tasks.
  • Update and refine preventive maintenance (PM) plans based on equipment history and best practices.
  • Annually audit the PM process to ensure PM frequency is correct.
  • Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams to implement reliability improvements.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to management and technical teams.
  • Coordinate with craftspeople to ensure proper execution and capture feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Lead efforts to improve equipment reliability, maintainability, and overall plant efficiency.
  • Participate in projects to upgrade or replace aging equipment to enhance reliability.
  • Conduct audits of maintenance activities to ensure safety, quality, and effectiveness.
