Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will plan and schedule all plant maintenance activities, including preventive, planned, and unplanned work. You will prioritize work orders, determine the best approach for completion, and analyze change parts to recommend improvements to preventive maintenance. You will ensure alignment between maintenance, accounting, and production teams, manage external vendor accountability, and initiate requisitions for maintenance and indirect purchases. Acting as a liaison between production, engineering, and maintenance, you will play a key role in driving reliability and continuous improvement. Your Impact Ensure parts inventory supports production needs while maintaining the lowest possible levels Lead Daily Direction Setting Meetings and activities Prioritize and accomplish work orders accurately Communicate daily with maintenance, production, accounting, and vendors to resolve issues Share daily and weekly updates on planned and unplanned work Perform supervisor functions, including weekend rotation, absence coverage, and adherence to standard work processes Create equipment numbers, tasks, and task numbers Add parts to tasks in SAP and verify accurate tagging in LEDS Assist with Breakdown analysis reviews and requisition parts for work order packages and non-stocked items Generate reports as needed and attend weekly departmental meetings Identify and develop continuous improvement projects, including reliability and cost reduction initiatives Review work order backlog and rework to determine root causes and recommend improvements Reduce inventory through standardization and develop templates for repetitive jobs Collaborate with other planners to update PMs (hour-based, functionality, recommended changes) Support other departments and project work as needed
