About The Position

Join the Clemens Food Group maintenance team and play a key role in keeping our operations running reliably and efficiently. As a Maintenance Planner, you will use your SAP/CMMS expertise to create, schedule, and optimize preventive and corrective maintenance work that improves performance, safety, and equipment uptime across our production facilities. This position is ideal for a mid-level planner with strong SAP or CMMS experience who enjoys problem solving, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, including at least 2 years in a maintenance planning or scheduling role
  • Advanced proficiency in SAP PM or a comparable CMMS (such as Maximo, EAM, or Fiix)
  • Strong understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance practices
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, manuals, and equipment specifications
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills with a focus on turning data into actionable plans
  • High attention to detail and strong commitment to CMMS data integrity
  • Ability to work effectively across maintenance, production, and engineering teams

Nice To Haves

  • Technical degree or certification in maintenance or reliability (CMRP, PMP, or equivalent)
  • Experience in food or regulated manufacturing environments
  • Familiarity with reliability-centered maintenance (RCM), total productive maintenance (TPM), or Lean principles

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance plans in SAP PM or a similar CMMS
  • Create detailed job plans including labor, parts, tools, and safety procedures
  • Review work orders for accuracy, prioritize maintenance requests, and coordinate with production and maintenance supervisors to schedule work efficiently
  • Analyze downtime, failure data, and maintenance KPIs to identify improvement opportunities
  • Partner with operations, maintenance, and reliability teams to improve asset performance and reduce unplanned downtime
  • Maintain CMMS data accuracy, including equipment hierarchy, BOMs, job templates, and task lists
  • Lead weekly maintenance planning and scheduling meetings
  • Ensure compliance with safety, food safety, and regulatory standards
