The Plant Maintenance Planner schedules the maintenance work activity in the plant. The Plant Maintenance Planner will: Coordinate with Job Change Coordinator and production staff to plan maintenance during downtime and maintain a planned maintenance schedule for the facility. Provide documentation of upcoming work, including parts lists/kits required. Review and improve the maintenance and planning processes to improve efficiency and remove waste, including but not limited to cost, manning, and materials. Understand storeroom inventories, min/max, and work with storeroom personnel to manage parts inventory and prioritize ordering against available M&E budgets. Interface with the safety observation, walk-and-talk, and near-miss processes within the plant to ensure alignment of maintenance resources and activities to improve employee safety and environmental compliance. The Plant Maintenance Planner should have: Strong leadership skills with the ability to hold people accountable Plant maintenance background in a manufacturing environment Knowledge of basic mechanical parts (motors, gear, boxes, rings). Previous experience managing projects and meeting deadlines
