Requirements

  • Experience with SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) module or similar CMMS.
  • Knowledge of chemical plant equipment (pumps, valves, piping, instrumentation).
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations (OSHA, EPA, Process Safety Management).
  • Technical background (mechanical or instrumentation/electrical).
  • Effective communication across departments.
  • Strong organizational and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Project management skills, specifically in planning and scheduling.

Responsibilities

  • Planning & Scheduling: Creating daily, weekly, and long-range maintenance plans to minimize production downtime. Building schedules out a month in advance.
  • Workflow Coordination: Managing the maintenance backlog and reviewing, prioritizing, and scheduling work orders.
  • Material Management: Ordering spare parts, managing inventory, and ensuring required materials are available before job execution.
  • Field Support: Conducting field walkdowns to define work scopes, ensuring safety, and identifying necessary resources.
  • Shutdown Planning: Coordinating plant-wide shutdowns and turnarounds.
  • Documentation: Maintaining accurate records in the CMMS (e.g., SAP), including technical data and maintenance history.
