As part of a hardworking team of diverse specialists, technicians, engineers, you will be responsible for ensuring high labor productivity and work quality by defining job tasks, estimating duration, identifying constraints, and assigning appropriate resources. This includes defining parts and materials, crafts and skills, safety requirements, and engaging the proper resources to develop a safe, effective, and efficient job plan.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in maintenance planning/scheduling.
  • Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP) certification preferred, but not required.
  • Mechanical, electrical, controls experience in Industrial/Manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read schematics, drawings and technical manuals and understand complex equipment functionality.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge and experience with a CMMS (Maximo, SAP, FIIX).
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Responsibilities

  • Make field walk downs, determine appropriate job work scopes, and develop work plans.
  • Define job requirements for labor hours, parts, materials, tools, craft, safety permits, and PPE.
  • Coordinate with plant production scheduling to plan and execute preventive maintenance activities, with minimal disruption.
  • Coordinate with inventory specialist to ensure required parts, tools and materials are ordered and received.
  • Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to plan maintenance activities.
  • Prepare reports as required.
  • Evaluate job feedback from technicians to constantly improve plans for future work.
