About The Position

The Maintenance Planner at Chevron Phillips Chemical will play a crucial role in the design, startup, and operation of the Golden Triangle Polymers facility in Orange, TX. This position focuses on developing maintenance plans, task lists, and SAP master data during the project phase, ensuring safety, equipment reliability, and cost objectives are met. Following the startup, the role will transition to managing ongoing plant operations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 10 years of millwright maintenance experience in a refining/petrochemical manufacturing setting, as a craftsperson, supervisor, or planner.
• At least 5 years of millwright planning experience.

Nice To Haves

• Planning/Scheduling experience in Primavera, Prometheus, and SAP
• Formalized training as a Planner/Scheduler, either classroom or certification.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for safety by actively participating in the company's safety processes and adopting core operating values.
• Analyze physical jobs to determine the safest and most efficient methods for task completion.
• Utilize field inspections and P&IDs to ensure job work packages are accurate and include required crafts.
• Develop maintenance job plans, schedules, and estimates using SAP & Prometheus tools, including resources, services, tools, materials, and procedures needed for work orders.
• Maintain accurate bills of materials and maintenance plans in SAP.
• Document work histories and technical files to incorporate lessons learned into job plans for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with peers to enhance the Operations Maintenance Work Process.
• Assist in determining warehouse stock requirements and recommended inventory levels, including identifying critical spares.
