A successful candidate for this position will have experience in manufacturing along with strong mechanical skills, planning and scheduling experience, and machine parts knowledge. Requirements

  • At least one to two (1-2) years of maintenance experience or equivalent
  • Certification from college or technical school preferred
  • Demonstrable experience may be accepted in lieu of credentials
  • Working knowledge of electrical, electronic controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, cutting, welding, fabrication, and tooling
  • Must be able to read and follow blueprints and schematics
  • Sense of urgency and self-motivation; ability to work independently
  • Computer literacy with ability to learn new computer software programs
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
  • Excellent customer service skills

Responsibilities

  • Assist with job scheduling and planning
  • Resource and order parts and supplies
  • Organize and maintain inventory
  • Manage CMMS software
  • Create Repair Work Orders
  • Input completed Work Orders
  • Manage PM Work Orders
  • Maintain required equipment logs
  • Responsible for planning work time to meet all needs of the plant
  • Ability to work in adverse conditions safely
  • Must be able to work any required schedule
  • Work with Production personnel to maintain and improve quality
  • Create and execute MPS plans, meet MPS commitments and work within the guidelines of MPS
  • Incorporate Milgard's vision and values into day-to-day activities and behaviors
  • Adhere to all facets of safety policies and procedures
