About The Position

J.C. Lewis is seeking a reliable and skilled General Maintenance Personnel team member to ensure the upkeep, safety, and functionality of our facilities and properties. This individual will handle a wide range of maintenance tasks—including light construction, electrical work, plumbing repairs, and troubleshooting—as well as assist with projects across all dealership and non-dealership J.C. Lewis properties. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage time efficiently while responding promptly to maintenance needs.

Requirements

• Proven experience in general maintenance, light construction, electrical, and plumbing.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance to ensure facilities remain safe, clean, and fully functional.
• Complete light construction projects such as repairing structures, installing fixtures, or minor carpentry tasks.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues, including lighting, outlets, and switches.
• Address plumbing needs, such as repairing leaks, unclogging drains, and fixing fixtures.
• Accurately track maintenance activities, inspections, and completed work.
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations when using tools and equipment.
• Work independently and collaboratively with supervisors and team members to complete projects on time.
• Provide support at other J.C. Lewis locations and properties as needed.
