About The Position

Harbor Child Care is looking for a maintenance person to join the HCC Team. Rate: $20/hr Schedule: Full-Time: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm. Requirements

• High school diploma
• Clean drivers license
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that may require lifting heavy objects and operating machinery and or tools.

Responsibilities

• General handy person work
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance
• Lawn care, leaf and snow removal
• Report major damages to CFO
• Changing light bulbs
• Minor plumbing and drain clearing
• Transportation of supplies
• Light painting
• Putting together classroom furniture
• Assist custodian where needed
• Fill in for custodian as needed. Includes:
• Maintain building entrances
• Prepare or maintain building for the day by taking out trash
• Undertake custodial and janitorial tasks
• Assist with other tasks as assigned and needed
